A Guide to Selecting an IIoT Platform

The IIoT platform market remains confusing, but after answering these questions, you should have clearer priorities.
  • Written by Brian Buntz
  • 14th March 2019

Every year, a wave of IIoT platforms emerges from the ether. Another wave of legacy platforms gets new features while untold others simply disappear from the marketplace. Obtaining a firm sense of the IIoT platform market is almost impossible. But with so many options available, it rarely makes sense for industrial companies to develop an IIoT platform from scratch. What should manufacturers and other industrial companies do?

This report takes a look at the industrial IoT market with a special focus on manufacturing applications.

We’ll touch on themes as varied as vendors’ traction in the marketplace, cybersecurity, the degree vendors are aligned with your industry, and provide advice on making sense of IIoT platform ecosystems.
