Robotics are set to take center stage in Austin.

The IoT World Conference and Expo is coming to the Texas capital in November, with industry leaders discussing the future of robotics in a range of industries as well as looking at everything connected, from smart vehicles to digital twins.

With pandemic-related supply chain disruptions and labor shortages seeing ripple effects throughout industries, robotic are becoming an increasingly popular means of meeting industry pressure and alleviating workloads on human staff members.

These emerging solutions will be a key topic at this year’s event, with presentations and panel discussions on how developments in connectivity and embedded IoT could impact robotic development and deployment, as well as how software developments are improving battery management, how intelligent machines are being created for smart decision making and how companies are navigating ethical challenges in robotics and AI.

Speakers will also be discussing how robotic platforms have developed in response to the pandemic and how businesses can adapt operational models to boost efficiency and reduce costs.

Speakers include Michelin, BP, Omdia, Ford Motor and more.
