Since its launch in 2016, the company has rolled out a series of robots for the hospitality industry, including robots for delivering goods, security inspections and waiting tables. More recently, it expanded into autonomous cleaning and disinfecting robots.

The company also has a range of hardware products including laser radar, active cameras, motor and motion controllers, which the company said helped elevate its service robots’ capabilities.

Earlier this year, the company announced a partnership with elevator company Kone to develop smart building services, integrating robotics into smart buildings to improve efficiency and automate labor-intensive tasks.

Pudu has set its sights on global expansion, with the latest funds intended to be used to boost its international market standing and develop a product pipeline to serve a wider range of companies and industries. The company said its robots have been deployed in more than 60 countries and 600 cities.
