Smaller Wireless Modules to Expedite Smart IoT Product Development

InnoPhase’s new reduced size wireless modules also extend battery life in IoT devices for at least five years

Innophase’s two new reduced size wireless modules offer a 40% reduction in size providing greater design flexibility. 

The new reduced size Talaria TWO wireless modules help expedite the development of smart IoT products including connected sensors, security cameras, asset tracking devices and health monitoring wearables. 

Company officials say the modules can achieve industry-leading Wi-Fi energy efficiency by using its programmable digital radio architecture. They also have advanced cybersecurity safeguards.

The Talaria TWO INP1014 and INP1015 connect to cloud servers but only connect periodically to preserve battery life when in sleeping mode to help support intelligent IoT in devices like security cameras, advanced sensors or health monitoring wearables.

The Wi-Fi modules feature Arm’s Cortex-M3 chip and can be installed in their own right, in conjunction with a third-party microcontroller or in a hybrid mode for executing other computing tasks.

InnoPhase claims the wireless modules will extend battery life for at least five years, and developers also have the option of connecting external sensors into its Wi-Fi architecture.
