A technology company in the United Arab Emirates is launching a fleet of unmanned eVTOL (electric vertical takeoff and landing) vehicles.

The UAE company Eanan plans to be the first commercially operating air mobility company in Dubai.

The fleet of zero-emission electric aerial vehicles (EAV) is being designed and produced in Dubai and is intended to transport people and cargo across any environment.

The autonomous multi-copter and flying wing aircraft are expected to come from the Eanan production facility in the Mohammed Bin Rashid Aerospace Hub (MBRAH) in Dubai.

The Eanan fleet of eVTOL vehicles includes a small cargo craft, an air taxi, a heavy cargo craft and a tilt-rotor frame vehicle.

Eanan is believed to be the first company in Dubai to make an unmanned EAV and bills itself as a regional leader in advanced air mobility (AAM).

"The launch of Eanan comes at a time where there's a greater demand for making transportation more accessible, efficient and environmentally friendly,” said Ali Al Ameemi, CEO of Eanan Aviation. “Our aim is to be the first commercially operating air mobility company in the city. From congestion-free travel to faster delivery of goods, assisting emergency response and monitoring remote facilities, AAM has the potential to transform economies and societies.

"As a Dubai-born entity, we share the city's DNA, energy and optimism for what is possible today and tomorrow as we play our role in helping position the UAE as an innovation hub and global leader in AAM.”

Eanan plans to publicly show its S-120 and S0700 Heavy Cargo craft later this month.
