Dashbot Launches Conversational Data Cloud
Conversational AI and data platform Dashbot introduced a conversational data cloud, a new customizable iteration that aims to allow customers to optimize chatbots to suit their businesses’ own conversational data, turning “unstructured, noisy, interrelated and often tangled conversational data into immediate action”. The new platform responds to currently high levels of chatbot failure, and the need for more optimized systems as customer communications continue to increase in the wake of the pandemic.
Energous, Atmosic Announce Wireless Sensor Evaluation Kit
Energous Corporation, in collaboration with Atmosic has announced the commercial availability of a wireless sensor evaluation kit. The new device harnesses Atmosic’s ATM3 energy harvesting Bluetooth low energy system-on-chips product and Energous’ transmitter, for real-time readings of temperature, humidity and acceleration. The product provides wireless connection of IoT devices such as sensors and tags, reducing reliance on power and connectivity sources.
Impinj Launches Reader Chip for Next-Generation Enterprise IoT
Impinj has released its latest reader chip for next-generation enterprise-grade readers. The new product is designed to discover high-volumes of connected items such as retail apparel, pallets, airline baggage and automobile parts. Impinj’s latest chip also boasts low power consumption and high sensitivity for high-speed and accurate inventory management. The new reader chip expands Impinj’s existing family of system-on-chips reader chips, which includes the E710, E510, and E310.
Globalstar Introduces Satellite Asset Tracking Suite
Globalstar has launched its latest portfolio of satellite asset tracking hardware and software solutions, consolidated on a platform dubbed the ‘realm enablement suite’. The new platform accelerates time to market, with AI-enabled applications generating high levels of telematics data. The suite also features integrity 150, a solar-powered, deployment-ready satellite asset tracking device with an application enablement platform. According to the company, the new suite offers customers “the flexibility and agility they need to optimize data from their tracking devices and edge sensors.”
Nokia Launches 5G Innovation Platform
Nokia has announced the launch of its 5G Innov Lab platform, intended to support and drive 5G. The open, scalable platform was developed as part of the French digital infrastructure committee’s strategic roadmap and brings together various partners, including Airbus Secure Land Communications, Augmented Acoustics, Digital Immersion, IMT, SNEF Lab, Nokia Bell Labs and Paris-Saclay Hardware Accelerator. The platform has major focus areas: research and innovation, industrial and vertical use cases and 5G experiments on the 26GHz band. Testing is planned at the Nokia Paris-Saclay campus or at customer sites for each type of industrial use; as well as the SNEF group Lab for railways, industrial and mining applications.
Sternum Joins NXP Marketplace as First Real-time IoT Security and Observability Solution
Sternum has joined the software partner community of NXP Semiconductors to bring its IoT security platform to users. Under the new partnership, NXP users would be able to integrate Sternum’s security and visibility features into their devices. Sternum’s platform allows connected devices to be autonomously secure and observable at the edge, compatible with all RTOS and Linux-operated devices. Use cases include medical, industry 4.0, smart cities and energy.
Allegro MicroSystems Announces New Position Sensors for ADAS Applications
Allegro MicroSystems has announced the launch of its A33110 and A33115 magnetic position sensors, designed for advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) applications. The latest sensors combine the company’s vertical hall technology (VHT) with cutting-edge tunnelling magnetoresistance technology in a single sensor package. The product is said by the company to be “an essential step toward enabling the reliability required for advanced levels of automation in vehicles”.
