Chuck Martin has been appointed editorial director of IoT World Today by Informa Tech, the publication’s parent company.

Martin will help consolidate and expand media content from IoT World Today and its sister title AI Business, as the company prepares to restore in-person events programming in November.

He brings to the helm considerable subject expertise from a series of editorial roles, including with MediaPost’s mCommerce Daily and AI & IoT Daily, as well as the Washington Star and High Technology Business Magazine.

Martin topped IT Chronicles’ influencer ranking for the Internet of Things in 2017 and was also named in the top 10 for lists prepared by Rise Global and Postscapes.

His latest book – “Digital Transformation 3.0” (The New Business-to-Consumer Connections of The Internet of Things) – is a New York Times bestseller.
