IoT World, which was scheduled to take place April 6–9, 2020, has been postponed until August 10–13, 2020.

On March 9, the county of Santa Clara issued an order to cancel gatherings of 1,000 attendees or more up until April 01, 2020. On March 10, the local state of emergency was extended to April 9, but the order on canceling large gatherings remains at April 1.

Despite IoT World occurring after the time frame of the current order, the situation around COVID-19 is evolving rapidly as are your corporate travel considerations. After close consultation with our partners in the IoT community, and as part of our managed postponement program we have made the difficult decision to reschedule Internet of Things World for August 10–13, 2020.

Having spent the past year preparing for the event with our advisers, speakers, exhibitors and event partners, IoT World is genuinely disappointed not to be able to host attendee in April, but the experience and safety of our community continues to be our top priority.

IoT World has officially been rescheduled to the dates of Monday August 10 – Thursday August 13, 2020 at the San Jose Convention Center.

Exhibitors, speakers and attendees will be contacted imminently with further information. We would like to thank everyone who helps to make the event possible and recognize that our event does not happen without the community’s support. We appreciate the open discussions and encouragement. Our conversations about how to respond to these recent events have proven how lucky we are to be part of this supportive industry.
